Access Consultant
Purple Pinwheel was founded by Liv, an Access Consultant with lived experience of disability and industry expertise across multiple areas of access. Liv is a freelance trainer delivery for Attitude is Everything Live Events Access charity and worked closely with them on their Charter of Best Practice.
As the founder of Purple Pinwheel and primary consultant, I have a range of training in a broad range of access needs and how best to meet them.
Accessibility is about realistic and sustainable change. Our mission is to get to know your organisation’s values, goals and audience, so we can design a step-by-step improvement plan within a workable timeframe and budget. Lots of solutions to access barriers are low-cost, they just require some creative thinking - that’s where we bring our lived and professional experience to the table.
We’re passionate about accessibility in every form, from event spaces to online platforms. Not only do access principles remain largely the same across a range of formats, but we also have a range of experience in the team. Whether you’re hosting a festival, organising a conference or designing an access page for your co-working space, we would love to talk to you about how we can help.
